Module 3 – Recognizing Safety Hazards, and appropriate Control measures

Welcome to the third module of the MESH training. This module is about common hazards in the workplace and their appropriate control measures. In this module, we will discuss the following:

• Housekeeping, materials handling and storage,
• Machine safety,
• Electrical safety,
• Fire safety,
• Chemical safety, and
• Workplace ergonomics.

At the end of this module, participants should be able to recognize safety hazards and appropriate safety measures in their workplaces.
